| Gaywoods Fishery |
Gaywoods Fishery is a man made coarse fishing lake, dug in 1978-80, measuring 4 acres in size featuring an island in the middle. It has a ballast and chalk bottom and ranges from 4ft to 24ft in depth and is fed by three natural springs.
The lake is stocked with common, mirror and grass carp (to 24lb) as well as tench, roach, rudd, orfe, perch, chub, barbel and some goldfish. |
